Esthero (very title Jen-Bea Englishman, born December 23, 1978) is a Canadian singer-songwriter who spends & works in the city of Toronto, Ontario. A title "Esthero," pronounced es-TARE-oh, refers both to the singer & to the two-human team of herself & her producer, Doc. She claims to make their way the title from either an old film character known as Esther, whose survive line within a picture show is, "If I am to be the hero, then I cannot fly from darkness."

Esthero's healthy characteristically features her voice all over the mix of mellowly bass lines, jazzy cornet, Spanish guitar & hip-hop. She is another time in comparison trip-hop artists Björk, Portishead and the Sneaker Pimps. Background
